Page of the Week - 08/19/09
From Blackest Night: Superman #1 - Written by James Robinson with Art by Eddy Barrows
(This is the last comic post for a while I promise!)
Robinson did a fantastic job with the pacing of this issue, creating a comic in the style of a classic B-horror film, and while I wanted to go with the page that depicted teenagers getting killed at drive-in movie, (right on the nose there Robinson) I went with this two page spread instead. I did so mainly because of the awesome use of the emotional spectrum. Look at Superman on the bottom right panel. Perfect.
